About me

Illustrator & designer

I’m a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Lund, Sweden. I enjoy working across disciplines, from visual communication for digital and print to project management and teaching. I’m creative at heart, but I love a structured process and when ideas get to grow through collaboration.

Bio

I began my career as a physiotherapist, but drawing, illustration and visual design were always there in the background. While working in healthcare, I gradually shifted focus – taking on freelance projects alongside my job and studying visual communication, graphic design and related fields.

Over the years, I’ve studied typography, illustration, visual identity, graphic production, storytelling, sketching, marketing communication, project management and digital publishing. These studies span several universities and design schools, and together they’ve given me a broad foundation – both creatively and practically – while allowing me to stay curious and professionally up to date. In 2021, I decided to focus fully on illustration and graphic design and studied illustration at the Berghs School of Communication, with a strong emphasis on professional workflows, concept development and freelance practice.

Since then, I’ve been working independently with illustration, book design and visual communication for clients in Sweden and internationally. I also take on project management assignments, mainly within print production and exhibitions – roles where structure, collaboration and an eye for detail are just as important as the visual outcome.

Alongside my freelance work, I teach at a higher vocational college, lecturing on creative production processes and graphic design. Teaching has grown to become an important part of my practice – it keeps me attentive, reflective and engaged in an ongoing exchange where ideas and experience move in both directions.

My illustration style

I primarily use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, and also work in After Effects and Figma. My style is often vector-based, with a fairly limited palette of bold colors and clean shapes that come to life through added textures and grain effects. I also work in a style that looks more analogue, with a hand-drawn feel and organic shapes, although it is still digitally illustrated. My goal is always to create work with a decorative feel that is clear, expressive and personal, and to collaborate with people who care about their projects as much as I do.

I’m a member of Svenska Tecknare and Illustratörcentrum.
