With this cover project, I reinterpreted Håll huvudet kallt (original title Size 14 is not fat either) by Meg Cabot, a young adult novel that moves between humor, romance and mystery. The story follows Heather Wells, who works as an assistant residence hall director at New York College, where everyday life is shaped by both murder mysteries and social intrigue. For the cover, I illustrated environments and details from the story, such as the college cafeteria and references to cheerleading. Color, form and typography interact in a playful expression that is supposed to reflect the book’s pace, humor and energy, with a focus on a younger audience.
