Boken \u00e4r ett psykologiskt drama som skildrar en ung flickas flykt fr\u00e5n en outh\u00e4rdlig verklighet in i sinnessjukdomens f\u00f6rf\u00f6riska och samtidigt skr\u00e4mmande v\u00e4rld, d\u00e4r gr\u00e4nsen mellan verklighet och inre upplevelser l\u00f6ses upp. I omslaget har jag velat gestalta k\u00e4nslan av tv\u00e5 parallella v\u00e4rldar och sv\u00e5righeten att skilja dem \u00e5t, genom kontraster mellan ljus och m\u00f6rker, \u00f6verlappande typografi mot rosen i bakgrunden samt mjuka, organiska former som anspelar p\u00e5 psyket.
