01
Contact
Getting in touch & practical details
How do I get in touch with you?
You are welcome to contact me by email. Please briefly describe what the project is about and what stage you are in. I will get back to you with suggestions for next steps, usually a short call or an email exchange to clarify needs and scope.
What do I need to have prepared before reaching out?
It is enough to have an overall idea of the project. Purpose, approximate scope and a possible timeline are helpful, but nothing needs to be fully defined. Many projects take shape through dialogue.
How quickly do you usually respond?
I usually respond within 1–2 business days. If I am fully booked or travelling, I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Do you work remotely or on site?
I mainly work remotely and collaborate with clients across Sweden. When needed, I can also work on site during parts of a project. I am based in Lund and Malmö.

Working together
How collaboration & projects usually work
What types of projects do you take on?
I mainly work with illustration, book design and graphic design, often in projects where form, content and production are closely connected. I particularly enjoy long-term collaborations and projects where quality and process are highly valued.
Do you work with fixed prices or hourly rates?
Depending on the nature of the assignment, I work with both fixed prices and hourly rates. Clearly defined projects are often priced at a fixed rate, while more open-ended assignments are handled on a time basis.
Can I hire you for parts of a project?
Yes. I can be involved in entire projects or in specific parts, such as interior book design, illustration, print consulting or final quality control.
What does your general work process look like?
I work in a structured way and in close dialogue. Typically, we start by clarifying goals, content and framework, followed by sketches and proposals, then production, revisions and delivery. The process is adapted to the needs of each project.
At what stage of a project is it best to involve you?
The earlier the better, especially for book and print projects. That said, I can also step in at a later stage to help clarify structure, form or production.
03
Illustration
Process, style & usage rights
What does an illustration project look like from start to delivery?
We begin by defining purpose, target audience and context. I then develop sketches for review before producing the final illustrations. Delivery is made in agreed formats and adapted to the intended use.
Do you adapt style and expression to the project?
Yes. I have my own visual expression but adapt style, colour and level of detail to the tone, audience and context of each project.
What is included in an illustration assignment?
This depends on the project, but usually includes dialogue, sketch work, final illustrations and delivery in agreed formats. Terms and usage rights are always specified in the quotation.
How do rights and usage of the illustrations work?
Rights are defined in connection with the quotation. The client typically purchases the right to use the illustrations for a specific purpose, while copyright remains with me. Usage rights can be extended later if needed by agreement.
Do you work mainly digitally or analog?
I work digitally, but always begin the process analog, sketching and thinking by hand. This allows space for idea development and structure before finalising the illustrations digitally.
04
Book design
Process, scope & print production
What does the book design process look like?
The process includes structure, typography, layout and overall visual concept. We work iteratively with sketches and test spreads before finalising the design and moving into production.
At what stage of a book project should a designer be involved?
It depends on the project. Often the manuscript is already largely or fully completed, for example when working on a cover. At the same time, involving a designer earlier can be beneficial, especially for interior layout, structure and overall coherence. I adapt my work to the stage your project is in.
Do you work with both covers and interior layout?
Yes. I design both covers and interiors and consider them parts of the same whole.
Do you handle print production and print-ready files?
Yes. I have experience with print production and can take responsibility for print-ready files, communication with printers and quality control before print.
Do you work with both publishers and self-publishing authors?
Yes. I work with both established publishers and self-publishers, adapting the process to the organisation and level of experience.
05
Graphic design
Design for print & digital
What type of graphic design do you work with?
I work with graphic design for both print and digital formats, such as books, printed materials, web design and content for digital channels like social media. The focus is always on clear form, context and production that works in its intended medium.
What is the difference between graphic design for print and digital formats?
Print and digital formats require different technical and typographic considerations. I have strong experience in both and ensure that the design works in its specific context.
Can you create templates that we can continue working with internally?
Yes. I often develop templates and systems that are easy to use and maintain within an organisation.
How do you ensure quality in production and delivery?
Through attention to detail, clear structure and solid production experience. I always quality-check files and materials before delivery.
06
Project management
Coordination, structure & delivery
What does project management involve in your assignments?
I am responsible for planning, coordination and execution, often in projects with many stakeholders. The focus is on structure, communication and maintaining a coherent whole.
What type of projects do you manage?
Primarily projects within culture, exhibitions and production, where form, content and logistics intersect.
How do you collaborate with other suppliers and teams?
Based on our agreement, I often act as a central point between different stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, timelines and decisions.
Do you work mainly operationally or strategically?
Both. I move between strategy and hands-on execution depending on the needs of the project.
07
Talks & tutoring
Formats, topics & target groups
What is the difference between teaching and lectures in your approach?
Teaching is more process- and assignment-based, often over a longer period of time. Lectures are more concentrated and inspirational, focusing on knowledge sharing and perspective.
What subjects do you teach and lecture on?
I teach and lecture on graphic design, illustration, creative processes, production and professional practice.
What target groups do your teaching and lectures address?
I work with students in higher education and vocational education, as well as organisations and companies.
Can the content be adapted to a specific education, organisation or industry?
Yes. All teaching and lectures are adapted to the target group, context and desired outcome.
